Ling Fong Provides One-Stop Hydraulic-System Shopping

Ling Fong Co., Ltd., founded in 1981, is a leading importer of hydraulic-system equipment on the island. Currently the main products of the company are hydraulic valves, modular valves, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic power system and other machinery. Buyer can find diverse hydraulic products and competitive prices in this "one-stop shopping source."

In 1970s there was no many hydraulic-system equipment made in Taiwan. The firm's founder, Chiang Ming-nan, found this business opportunity and began to survey this market and technologies about this field. Fortunately the firm received the support and guidance form Europe and Japan and then started its import business in 1981 to supply the demands from the factory in the field of machinery and automation. The main import items include hydraulic pumps, pressure valves, directional control valves, flow control valves, modular valves, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic system power units, hydraulic system manifolds, and related spare parts.

In order to reach the policy of cost down, the firm began to run its own factory, Yujih Hydraulics MFG. Co., Ltd, because the import cost of hydraulic system equipments is too high to expand its business. Its products started to be sold under its own brand "DAIWER" in 1983. Beside importing and manufacturing hydraulic system equipment for its customers, the company also offers design service to meet special demands form clients.

The company spares no efforts in enhancing its design and manufacturing technology. The firm joins many associations such as Taiwan Importers & Exporters Chamber of Commerce, Taiwan Hydraulics & Pneumatics Association and Hydraulics & Pneumatics Association of R.O.C. It was recognized with the Golden Earl Award for Asia-Pacific Excellent Quality Product in 1998 and was granted ISO9002 approval in 1999.

Located in Tainan, south Taiwan, the firm's manufacturing plant has a floor area of 350 pings (one ping is approximately 36 sq. ft.). The firm has a workforce of 40.
