Seho Develops New Machines, Sells Used Ones

Seho Industry Co., which has been in business for two decades, specializes in making a wide variety of machines including lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, drilling machines, electrical-discharge machines, wire-cut machines, punching machines, forging machines, shearing machines, band saws, CNC (computerized numerically controlled) machining centers, horizontal boring machines, radial drills, and tapping centers.

Besides manufacturing its own machines, the company also acts as Taiwan agent for Hasesgawa Machine Works Co. of Japan, refurbishing used machines so that they can operate virtually as new ones.

"Dedicated professionalism" is the motto that drives the company. The key to progress, the firm's officials believe, is the adoption of ever-more-advanced technology in supplying a complete range of high-quality machines that meet the stringent demands of a wide variety of clients.

The company was persuaded to get into the supply of used machinery by a growing demand in the global market. About a decade ago it set up a used-machinery department, making use of its expertise and know-how to provide customers with reliable used machinery at highly competitive prices.
