Wellcam Hits Profits Gusher With High-end Tapping Machines

Wellcam Machinery Corp., founded in 1989, is a specialist manufacturer of tapping and drilling machines, including hydraulic tapping machines, vertical air tapping machines, universal air tapping machines, multi-spindle drilling machines, and collets. All the company's products are TUV CE-approved.

Wellcam president Liu Shin-nan says that his company has earned a strong reputation both in Taiwan and abroad for the reasonable pricing and quick after-sale services offered by his company.
Wellcam's air-tapping machines feature user-friendly interfaces to increase production efficiency. Liu says his company is constantly honing the functions of its machines to add further value and meet the ever-changing market demand.

Wellcam's most recent vertical hydraulic tapping machine model improves on its predecessor by delivering higher productivity, stronger torque and wider application range. The company claims the new machine is a low-cost alternative to CNC machining centers for tapping work.

The company makes over 80% of the key components in its tapping and drilling machines, giving it greater control over quality. "In addition to our talented R&D specialists and strict quality-control system, we have many advanced production machines that are crucial in enabling us to create our much-in-demand state-of-the-art high-performance machines."

At present the company exports most of its products under the "Wellcam" brand, though it also welcomes original equipment/design manufacturing orders.

Thanks to rising overseas demand, the company has enjoyed substantial year-on-year growth in sales over the past three years. The company's major export outlets include mainland China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Canada.

With a work force of 17, Wellcam currently is capable of rolling out four vertical hydraulic tapping machines and 40 vertical air-tapping machines per month.
