Known for quality fastening-tie systems, Jun Kaung Industries Co., Ltd is promoting two new worm-gear winches that have been designed for use in a wide variety of applications, including raising and lowering poultry and livestock equipment.

One of the winches has a seven-inch-long fixed-position handlebar for control of winch movement; the other features a pole that is fitted into a loop. The loop type allows better operation in narrow spaces, since the absence of a fixed-position handlebar makes it more space-conservative.

For most applications, the winches are mounted on the ceiling. Weighing about 4.5 kilograms, both models are around 19 centimeters long, 12.7 centimeters wide, and 14 centimeters high (not including handlebar/pole).

Built with reinforced parts and a sturdy frame, the two winches can load up to 3,000 ponds of goods. Steel cables are used, and the webbing utilized comes in a maximum diameter of eight millimeters. Gears on the two machines are of solid metal (thin metal layers built up), ensuring greater durability, management states, than gears on competitors' models.

The handlebar type comes with two reels, allowing it to operate with two cables, each carrying 1,500 pounds of goods up and down in turns so that work can be carried out faster and more effectively. The loop type has only one reel and, thus, can operate with only one cable with a load of 3,000 pounds.

The drum hubs on the two machines come in large diameter, meaning they minimize damage to the cable used.

A special design makes gears stop as soon as the worms stop, and the firm states they never suffer looseness no matter how heavy the load carried-thus maximizing workplace safety.

Coming with electrostatic-discharge coating treatment, the two machines offer superb rust resistance.
