Hiwin Technologies Corp., founded in October 1989, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of linear motion components. Hiwin's products can be classified into four categories: precision machinery components (ballscrews, linear guideway, linear bearing, and linear stage module), sub-system unit and system unit (linear stage-K/KA/KA type, X-Y positioning platform, and linear motion positioning system), aircraft parts (ballscrews for missile actuator, aviation flap actuator, missile launcher support components, and engine cooling plates), and electro-mechanical products (linear motors, linear actuators, gantry system, and controllers).

Hiwin says its RG-series high-rigidity roller-type linear guideways are one of its latest developed precision linear motion components to cope with the world demand trend. The products play as an ideal component used in the industries of machine tools, automation equipment, semiconductor and optoelectronics.

The company's Super S-series ballscrews have such characteristics as low noise, space saving, high speed, with Dm-N value reaching 220,000. The products are suitable for the industries of CNC machinery, precision machine tools, industrial machinery, electronic machinery and all kind of high-speed machinery.

The company says it has established a very strong sales network worldwide with overseas sales agents spreading all over the world, including Italy, France, and mainland China. Five overseas subsidiaries each located in Germany, Japan, the United States, Switzerland, and Czech Republic. At present the company owns three R&D centers each in Tokyo of Japan, Offenburg of Germany, and Moscow of Russia.

The company says its major export outlets include Germany, the United States, France, Italy, mainland China, Japan, South Korea, India, Switzerland, Turkey, Brazil and Czech Republic.
