Chan Liang, founded in 1986 and ISO9001:2000-certified, specializes in making high-value-added specialty fasteners of carbon and stainless steels, focusing on developing high-end products to differentiate from rivals, as well as carrying out strictly quality-control to assure consistent quality and performance.

Company president John Lin says that his company can develop special-purpose screws backed by more than two decades of experience, enabling the maker to deliver made-to-order items according to drawings with product specifications.

With a factory of 72,000 square feet in Kaohsiaung County, southern Taiwan that turns out nearly 500 tons of fasteners, the company has a 98% capacity utilization and annual sales of US$12 million.

The company's major product line includes self-tapping screws, thread-rolling screws, machine screws, chipboard screws, drywall screws, SEMS screws, roofing screws, concrete and cement board screws etc., able to roll out screws ranging from 2” to 5/16” in diameter and between 1/4” and 8” long, all of which meet international standards as IFI, ANSI, ASTM, ISO, DIN, JIS, BS and AS.

Besides developing carbon and stainless-steel screws with compounds, the maker has also recently installed new production equipment, including automated heading and threading machine, to expand product range, as well as planning to install more machinery to make longer screws.

Chan Liang also frequently exhibits in world-renowned shows held in Stuttgart and Cologne, Germany. (BS)
