Power modules for LED lighting

Hawyang Semiconductor Corp., specializing in power modules for various applications including LED lighting, is promoting a power module for LED MR16 lamps and another for solar-powered LED streetlight.

The MR16 drive module is designed for lamps rated from 3W to 5W. The 14 by 20mm module boasts power efficiency conversion as high as 90-94%, and has open-circuit and short-circuit protection designs. Made to be plugged in 12V AC/DC electronic and linear transformers, this module also has constant current design to enable flicker-free LED illumination.

The streetlight module, codenamed HYP190x, also features open-circuit and short-circuit protection designs. Converting 96-99% of power efficiency, the module has constant current design that can be connected to a maximum of seven individual LED bulbs.

In addition, the company also supplies LED power modules for T-Bar, LED car lights and down light.

The company's R&D engineers, whose experience in the industry average ten years each, develop power module solutions that has better performance and lower cost for customer, which is a main advantage. (KL)
