Founded in 2004, Sding Yuh Industry Co., Ltd. is one of the youngest but the most aggressive players in Taiwan's timing-kit sector in recent years.

The company has been dedicated to production of high-caliber timing kits, timing chains, chain guides, chain tensioners, belt tensioners, idler pulleys, etc. over the years.

Following six years of operation and rapid expansion, Sding Yuh recently moved into a new office/factory integrated building while keeping the company's warehouse nearby. Another evidence for the company's rapid development into a major player in the business is that it is now in a position to offer more than 1,000 timing kit sets.

Nancy Hsieh, company president, claims that Sding Yuh's wide-ranging timing kit sets are suitable for almost all major Japanese and American car makes. About two years ago, the firm began a series development projects for popular European cars based on customers' strong request. Some 30 timing kit sets are developed per year at Sding Yuh, Hsieh says, with tensioners, bearings, chain guides produced in-house and the gears and chains sourced from qualified and reputed suppliers.

"We're highly confident of the quality and durability of our SD own-brand timing kit products, which are well received worldwide, especially in the United State, Mexico, Latin America and European nations such as Italy and the U.K.," Hsieh says. "Key competitive edges of SD timing kits include 100% inspection by our company's stringent quality-control system, quality assurance for all items, and best pre- and after-sales services."

Hsieh is also very proud of her company's high-efficiency product inventory system, which keeps more than 3,000 items, in finished or semi-finished types, making Sding Yuh fully able to achieve not merely on-time but prompt delivery to customers.

Sding Yuh adopts high-level testing and inspection equipment to check every item outsourced or self-produced so as to assure the best quality and durability of SD-branded products. Hsieh claims that the original equipment (OE) timing kits are often replaced after three to five years in big-territory nations and the lifetime is about 100,000 kilometers. "The durability of our company's products is close to 80% to 90% of that of OE counterparts, but they are priced at only one-third!" Hsieh explains. (QL)
