Founded in 1988 in Taiwan, Goldyear Industrial Ltd. is the sole LED-lighting manufacturer in Taiwan capable of developing all components required for LED lighting fittings, namely optical lens, thermal-dissipation devices, and power drivers.

Many of its products have been certified with UL, CUL, CE, SAA and RoHS approvals.

Its lighting fixtures are mostly lit by LED chips from Cree, Citizen and Nichia. In the HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2011, the company launched two collections of advantageous lamps—GU10 7W Super and MR167W Super. The two series of lamps are bright, energy saving and dimmable. They have won CE approval and are well received overseas.

7W GU10 Super and 7W MR16 Super are made out of high-performance materials mostly from Europe, North America and Japan, finished with Goldyear's self-developed thermal-dissipation design. Tests prove the company's lamps can operate as long as 25,000 hours as average lifetime.

Glodyear expects it to supply government agencies of Australia with over 300,000pc 7W MR16 Super lamps a year as soon as its talks with the government organizations close a deal. The lamps will be sent to take the North American LM70 tests in the middle of February If got the regular order.

The company will roll out next generations of 7W GU10 Super and 7W MR16 Super as well as some new products in a lighting fair each held in Taiwan and Japan in March. These lamps boast features including 10/40dgree beaming angle and 7% more light output. Moreover, average price points are estimated to mark down at least 10%.
