Taipei, Oct. 18, 2004 (CENS)--Wood Technology Club (WTB) members recently elected Bill Hung, chairman of Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association, as the organization's new chairman at a meeting held in Atlantic City of the United States.

The 21-member organization elected an Argentine manufacturer named Nora Reznik vice chairman of the organization.

Hung will assume the chairmanship of the club, which was established in May 2001 in Europe, for three years until 2007. Taiwan's insiders of the industry pointed out that Hung's election would be helpful to Taiwan, which has been aggressively seeking any chance to take part in international organizations and affairs.

The organization has nine Asian members including the ones from Taiwan, mainland China, and Japan.
