Yang says that the greater proportion of Liean-Gimn's exports go to the Japan market; and that selection of the firm's models by famously quality- and price-picky Japanese firms is clear proof of their international competitiveness. This selectivity also partly explains the fact, she states, that more and more big foreign buyers are turning back to Taiwan makers for assured quality and away from mainland China makers, which tend to compete solely on price.

Liean-Gimn's comprehensive product catalog, among the best in its industry, allows the firm to serve as a welcome one-stop shop for customers worldwide. The company's effective trading department, which always puts the customer's needs up front, will also help its clients find any resistor product the firm cannot itself provide.

To avoid competition on price with low-quality China rivals, and to ensure its continuing edge in advanced technology, Liean-Gimn has been actively accelerating the pace and depth of its R&D in high-voltage and -precision products. A series of new items featuring industry-vanguard knowledge is scheduled for market entry early next year, Yang says.
