Sunny Days Roll On For Sunny Enterprises

Sunny Enterprises Co. Ltd., founded in 1966, is a premier professional maker of various types of pneumatic and hydraulic parts and devices. It also is the agent on the island for such respected Japanese companies such as KAWASAKI, NACHI-FUJIKOSHI, and IHARA.

The company develops many new products and improves extant products to meet customers' needs and market trend. Its main products include Pneumatic Cylinders, 4-Column Hydraulic Presses, Hydraulic Cylinders, Hydraulic Broach Machines, Pneumatic Presses, Special Automatic M/C, C-Frame Hydraulic Presses, Power Units, and Lubrication Units.

Located in Taipei, north Taiwan, the firm's plant has a floor area of 7,590 square meters. The company exports its machines worldwide; its major overseas markets are the United States, Mexico, Poland, Australia, mainland China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Dominican Republic. About 40% of output is exported.

The company produces on OEM (original equipment manufacturing) and ODM (original design manufacturing) bases. "This year we are focusing on whole-plant equipment and whole-plant production lines," says Waylans Kao, general manager of the company. "We'll offer our high-quality machines as whole-plant solutions, supplemented with solid technical know-how, operational training, and after-sales service. Last year the sales growth of our company was almost 20% (about US$4 million) and we estimate that sales growth will be 15% this year."

Committed research and relentless improvement are the driving forces pushing Sunny forward at all times. It won its ISO -9002 certificate in 1996 and ISO-9001 in 2002. The Ministry of Economic Affairs issued Sunny its certificate declaring it an "A" Quality Control Factory and Mechanical Component Standard Factory in 1984. It will soon receive the CE Mark for its hydraulic presses, enabling sales in Europe and Australia.

The firm will display its products at Booth No. 5B10 at the Worldtech Assembly Tech 2004 form 6 May to 9 May in Thailand, International Factory Automation System Show 2004 Korea from 2 Sep. to 5 Sep. in Seoul, PTC Asia 2004 in Shanghai and the Indonesia machinery show in Nov.
