Fantastic Homeware Mfg. Co. A Solid Bet, No Fantasy, In Lighting

Founded in 1980, Fantastic Homeware Mfg. Co., Ltd. Is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of table lamps, floor lamps, pendent lamps, and lighting accessories.

The company is also a dynamic maker of lighting products that has recently focused on the development of LED (light-emitting diode), CDM and high-efficiency lighting sources. With 23 years of OEM (original equipment manufacturing) and ODM (original design manufacturing) production experience, the company's annual new product offerings always attract solid interest from around the globe.

The firm's monthly output reaches 15,000 pieces. Its manufacturing plant is located in Taichung County, central Taiwan, with a floor area of 3,500 pings (one ping is approximately 36 sq. ft.) and has a workforce of 30 persons for its operations. In 2002, the firm's second factory with 2,000 pings was set up in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China and now has 200 employees.

This year the company will present its products at the following two shows. One is Taipei International Gift & Stationery Spring Show to be held at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) from April 22 to April 25, and the other is the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair, slated for Oct. 27 to Oct. 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

Although the firm's products are exported to Europe, North America, and Japan, the company is eagerly seeking sales agents at home and abroad. (AL)
