Dah Shan Specializes in PVC-Extruded Products

Dah Shan Plastics Co., Ltd., founded in 1989, specializes in the production of irregularly shaped polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-extruded products. After years of knowledge accumulation and production-process upgrading, the ISO9001-certified firm now turns out a wide range of plastic-extrusion products, mainly knock/down PVC drawer parts and decorative trims. These products are widely used in many a manufacturing industry--furniture, building materials, electronics, medical equipment, transportation, and machinery.

The company's drawer parts are specifically designed for steel computer desks and other furniture items. The flexibility of its in-house R&D team, however, enables the company to develop drawer parts in any size according to customers' special requirements. The team creates at least one new item per month, and has recently unveiled important successes in bathroom cabinets made of engineering plastics and glass.

The company is equipped with 15 state-of-the-art lines for the production of parts made of both soft and rigid plastic, including ABS, HIPS, PE, PP, PVC, PS, NBR, TPE, and TPR. In diverse colors and grains, its products come in sizes that have a maximum of 120mm in width and 18mm in thickness.

In recent years, the company has acquired advanced manufacturing machinery from Japan. These have helped the company effectively develop irregularly shaped plastic models with bright colors featuring anti-moisture and anti-rot characteristics. The new machines have brought reduced production costs and enhanced international competitiveness.

Dah Shan's management believes that--no surprise--the best in product quality and comprehensive after-sales service is the key to international competitiveness. The firm has established a solid reputation in the Southeast Asian market and is also now seeking to penetrate the Japanese, Latin American, European, and U.S. markets.

With a 36,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Taichung County, central Taiwan, Dah Shan currently has 30 employees turning out 200 tons of irregularly shaped plastic-extrusion products a month.
