Auto King's "VTTR" Tuning Brake Parts Stop Competition in Their Tracks

Established in 1996, Taiwan's Auto King Co. Ltd. Is a specialized supplier of high-level brake-system tuning parts. The company's "VTTR" brand is No. 1 on the island.

The firm supplies several key brake-system items, including six-piston caliper kits, brake disks, and brake pads. With the VTTR name come many options in each product category, to satisfy customers' widely varying requirements.

Mass production was just recently launched on a six-piston caliper model that fits both 15- and 16-inch wheel rims, further enriching the company's product line. A six-piston model for 17- to 19-inch wheel rims has also been developed.

The calipers are made forged using high-level aluminum alloy and processed with computerized numerically controlled (CNC) machining centers, making them lighter and stronger than standard models. The VTTR versions have built-in dust-prevention covers inside the caliper body, rather than outside as with most counterparts, making them more stylish. All surfaces are anodizing to enhance shine and best bring out color. Management states that braking forces are precision-balanced on the six pistons, making for maximum braking control.

Auto King offers a very comprehensive range of brake disks for popular Japanese, American, and European car models. Some are made with aerospace-grade FC-V alloy and processed using precision surface grinding, the company states, making them able to withstand heat up to 900 degrees Celsius and giving them a better appearance. Auto King claims that all of its disk models are developed using intensive real-vehicle, on-road tests to ensure the highest quality and safety.

The firm also supplies tuning brake pads made using advanced materials--non-asbestos, metal fiber, and a composite of the two. The top-end VTTR Racing brake pads feature a working-temperature range between 100 and 700 degrees, a super-heat-resistant friction material with a friction efficiency of 0.45 to 0.55, and a design that enables installation on virtually all car models.

Of course, the company claims, it is best to use VTTR brake calipers and pads in unison to achieve the best braking performance. Auto King claims that it self-designs all the products it makes, and constantly seeks ever better materials to maximize quality, durability, and performance.
