The deadlock has a bolt to provide maximum security for a single-leaf narrow stile door. Basically, the locking bolt extends out of the lock allowing it to go into a wall to secure the door. A single metal bolt from the door into the wall if there is someone makes forcing the door open, it is almost impossible when a deadbolt is locked.
Hook Lock is suitable for sliding doors and is easily attached to wood or steel door frames.
